Fleet changes from a very Spring-Feeling-Sample to Breakbeat-like parts. Another great Just Dope Beat.

Or favorite man on the keys, Chris from Enschede played some nice samples in our mpc and sp 303. We flipped the samples, reversed them, squeezed them and added drums. This Beat is what came out o this procedure:

We had mad fun with recording the first Podcast, so we met next week again to record a new one. Just Dope Podcast #02. With us in the Studio was Kinner, as co-selector.
3 people, 3 crates, 1 podcast.
The first part is a wild mix of styles: From Adriano Gilentano to King Tubby, from Mahalia Jackson to Johnny Cash…
The second part is straight HipHop: (a.o.) Doom, Madlib, Lacks, Unspoken Heard and of course Just Dope.
We hope the quality of the sound is better this time.

Yo,
last sat-day Just and Dope recorded the first Just Dope Podcast. 37 minutes blend of some Just Dope Beats and Underground HipHop 12″ that are style-wise related to our stuff.
We were very limited with the equipment that was available, so excuse some quality issues 😉
Enjoy

The last year of J Dilla were very ‘money eating’ because Dilla needed a special and expensive health care. Therefore K-Fresh of rensoul.com opened a PayPal account to help his mom, Maureen Jancey. The money will be directly sent to Mrs. Jancey.
You could also go an order a shirt. Mrs Jancey also benefits from the sales….
If you don’t want to donate, play some Dilla music. 😉
This Beat was produced by Just Dope featuring Chris on the keys. We met in Enschede in March ‘06 and recorded a nice jazzy interlude or whatever you want to call it. ..

…and to be fair: Dodger was also involved, as “critical ear” 😉
thx to Dodger and Chris!

Last weekend we’ve been to Enschede, NL with Dodger to visit Chris. He is great on the keys.
We just sat down a couple of hours and recorded on and on…
Expect soon the first material to download.

Some weeks ago we recorded 10 minutes crazy drumming over a dirty jazz loop with an old fostex 4-track tape recorder. I trimmed it a little and now we have 2:20 left.
Dirty Drums over a Dirty Loop recorded Dirty. Enjoy.
