Special Editon Podcast - STMB #01
I am a member of the message board on stonesthrow.com. We decided to start a regular Podcast, hosted by the board members.
I was so kind to start the baby. I made it half HipHop, half Reggae…
This was recorded on-the-fly. One take. Single track. So excuse, if the mixing (or my english 😉 ) is a little poor.

tracklist for stmb podcast #01
sunday morning tunes
01. Intro (Just tapping beats over winnetou OST)
02. Jurassic 5 - Baby please
-> I love the new Feedback LP…
03. Too strong - Hoer was ich erzaehle
-> German act from Dortmund. Some say they were the first serious HipHop crew in Germany.
04. Abstract Art - 3 men in a bar
-> Crew is from munich (orginally from the US). Sorry for the snatchy speed in the beginning, the record was buckled a little
05. Scheinriesen - Luft,Feuer,Wasser,Erde (Air, Fire, Water, Earth)
-> 2 guys from my hometown Gladbeck. MPC made…
06. Slum Village - Fall in love (rmx)
-> One of my favorite LPs (Fantastic Vol. II)..
07. J Dilla - Nothing like this
->Dilla singing. Taken from the german release Ruff Draft EP. Also on the new Chrome Children LP. RIP!
08. Danger Mouse - a.t.h.f.
-> Doom is my man. imo, mouse took some pieces of the Madvillain beats atmoshere, especially on this one.
09. Lone Catalysts - Place to be
-> when the “HipHop” Lp was released, it not went from my TTs for a long time. Propz to LC!
10. Groundation - Don’s Intro
-> I found about them on a show here in Wuppertal. The singer Harrison Stafford has very intensive voice, you can feel that he is conviced about what he’s singin about. (allthough this dub version hasn’t much lyrics…) website
11. Dub trio - Scoop and smash ‘em
-> found it at Vinatge Vinyl in St Louis. Nice Dub played almost 100% with live instruments.
12. Herbs - crazy mon
-> Roots Reggae from new Zealand I found in a basement shop in sweden. Does anybody something about the Herbs? The info on Dicsogs looks more like a Rock/Pop band, but this is straight Reggae…
13. Just Dope - Abgeher feat. DJ Upset
-> Our own production add. Dj Upset from Gladbeck did the cuts. From 2003.
Yo,
We just wanted to let you all know that we are not sleeping. 😉
There are some hot new beats on the MPC, but due to worldcup fever in germany, we have a lack of time to mix them down and upload them here. stay tuned.
Good luck for my team!

The last year of J Dilla were very ‘money eating’ because Dilla needed a special and expensive health care. Therefore K-Fresh of rensoul.com opened a PayPal account to help his mom, Maureen Jancey. The money will be directly sent to Mrs. Jancey.
You could also go an order a shirt. Mrs Jancey also benefits from the sales….
If you don’t want to donate, play some Dilla music. 😉
Last weekend we’ve been to Enschede, NL with Dodger to visit Chris. He is great on the keys.
We just sat down a couple of hours and recorded on and on…
Expect soon the first material to download.

Momenta is our first Download EP.
It is basically a collection of Beats that we produced between 2002 and 2005. We re-mixed some of them, because a few of the old ones were really ugly 😁
